Kids Fun Run
The Kids run will start after the 5K. All kids running the FUN RUN will receive a finishers medal and a goodie bag. MAP
Get your friends together and form a team. Teams can be as large as you like and the three fastest times per team will be counted. Receive $2.00 off per runner when you sign up as a team. Register Now
Both the 10K and 5K will be bib chip timed.
Both courses are new this year starting and finishing at The Colonnade on the Concourse, passing The Kansas City Museum, historic homes, the waterfall on the bluffs and traversing along Cliff Drive, a US scenic byway. Because we plan to use these courses for one year only, they will be measured with a bicycle and Jones counter for accuracy but the measurements, maps and fee will not be submitted to USATF, saving the club about $800.
Not sending documentation to USATF is only an issue if your road running performance needs to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked.
In 2020, the race will start and finish at the Kansas City Museum and we plan to certify the both courses at that time to use for many years.
For your safety we do not allow dogs, skateboards, inline skates or bicycles.
Strollers must walk the 5K, and remain behind the runners.

If you are participating in the race as a virtual participant, you or a friend can pick up your packet, shirt and finisher medal at packet pickup. Tell the volunteers you are a virtual runner and look for the Virtual Runner sign. We will have your packet pulled ahead of time. DO NOT GO TO A COMPUTER to have a bib number assigned to you! Complete the distance whenever and wherever is convenient.

Every effort will be made to produce a fair and safe event for all participants. Any decision made that impacts the race date or potential cancellation is carefully considered and based on the overall event safety, sustainability and manageability.
If you want to be guaranteed a refund, purchase race insurance for yourself. Travel insurance companies will cover your race registration and any travel costs you might have.
